Not that long ago it was hard to find a tablet priced under $100 that was actually worth using. These days there are plenty of cheap tablets that are good enough for basic tasks like reading web pages and streaming movies – especially when you can find a mid-range model that's on sale for a budget price.
A few examples: Amazon's Fire Max tablet has a $230 list price, but it's currently on sale for $140. The Fire HD 10 has a $140 list price, but it's on sale for $75. Meanwhile Woot might have one of the best deals I've seen on a refurbished ChromeOS tablet. The store is selling refurbished Lenovo 10e Chromebook Tablets for as little as $37.
Refurb Lenovo 10e Chromebook Tablet for $37 and up – WootIs this a great tablet? Not really. It's a cheap model designed for educational use. But it has a 10.1 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display, a MediaTek MT8183 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and it will receive ChromeOS updates through at least June, 2030.
The $37 model is a "scratch & dent" version, which means it should be fully functional but may have some cosmetic blemishes. But you can also pay $60 for a "Grade A" refurbished model that's a little less beat up. That makes the tablet cheaper than the optional keyboard folio case that Lenovo sells for this tablet for $70. The tablet is also compatible with a $36 Lenovo Pen, and should work with other digital pens that support the USI protocol.
