Black Friday may be the unofficial start to the holiday shopping season, but the day after Thanksgiving is also a day when you might be sitting around the house in food coma looking for something to watch on TV. Aiding and/or complicating your quest are streaming services – which have made a habit in recent years of offering deep discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.

This year Peacock is offering a 12-month subscription for $20 or letting you pay $2 per month for up to 6 months. You can get a Hulu + Disney bundle for $3/month for up to 12 months. And Max is offering a $3 per month plan for up to 6 months. Both of those deals are for ad-supported plans, but a whole bunch of streaming services are offering ad-free deals that let you sign up for as little as $1 per month for up to 2 months at a time.

Note that many of these deals are available through Amazon Prime Channels or the Roku Channel, and prices may vary depending on which of those services you use. But Paramount+ is offering the same $3/month for up to 2 months deal whether you sign up at Paramount+ or through Amazon or Roku.

Meanwhile if you're looking for deals on music, eBooks, or games, Amazon is offering 3-month free subscriptions to Amazon Music Unlimited for new subscribers and Kindle Unlimited and Audible Premium Plus subscriptions for $1 per month for up to 3 months. And several game stores have already kicked off their Black Friday 2024 sales.
