Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ (2024) launches in China (14.5 inch laptop with AMD Strix Point and a 3K, 120 Hz display)

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ (2025) is a thin, light, and powerful laptop that features support for up to a 14.5 inch, 3072 x 1920 x pixel display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 Strix Point processor, and up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

While Lenovo hasn't announced international availability for the laptop, the new ThinkBook 14+ is currently available in China, where customers can pick one up for CNY 7,999 (about $1130).

Measuring 5.9mm (0.63″) thick and weighing 1.5kg (3.3 pounds), the ThinkBook 14+ (2025) is reasonably compact for a notebook with a 14.5 inch display, a processor that can run at up to 65 watts, and an 85 Wh battery.

It also has a decent set of ports including:

  • 1 x USB4
  • 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
  • 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A
  • 1 x HDMI 2.1
  • 1 x Gigabit Ethernet
  • 1 x 3.5mm audio
  • 1 x microSD card reader
  • Thanks to a slim design that has the sides of the computer get thinner near the front, both the Ethernet and USB 2.0 ports have have partial covers that need to be folded down when you want to plug something in.

The laptop supports 100W charging with a USB Type-C power adapter.

Other features include a 1080p IR webcam, support for WiFi 7, dual fans, LPDDR5x-7500 onboard memory (which is not user replaceable) and a PCIe Gen 4 SSD (which is). The laptop supports Dolby Vision, and the display tops out at 430 nits of brightness.

We're still a few months away from these devices actually launching, but the plethora of leaks we've received leave little to the imagination. The news we have so far is that the company will be giving the Pixel lineup a completely different aesthetic, including flatter edges, rounded corners, and a large pill-shaped camera bump.
