The Lenovo Tab Plus is an Android tablet that puts media playback front and center. It has an 11.5 inch, 2000 x 1200 pixel display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a built-in kickstand, and eight JBL speakers with support for Dolby Atmos sound.

Lenovo says the tablet's speaker system features four woofers, four tweeters, a 22c speaker box, and support for up to 26 watts of power. When the tablet first launched in June, it was only available in select markets including Australia, but now the Lenovo Tab Plus is available in the United States for $320.

While the Lenovo Tab Plus is official an Android tablet with better speakers than most, you can also kind of think of it as a portable speaker system that just happens to have a built-in tablet. In fact, you can use it as a Bluetooth speaker by pairing the tablet with a phone or other devices, allowing you to stream music from your mobile device to the tablet's speakers.

Lenovo's software for the tablet also includes a "Standby Mode" option that lets you use the Lenovo Tab Plus as a "color digital photo frame or beautiful clock" when it's charging with the kickstand extended.

The tablet features a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8GB of LPDD4x RAM, 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a microSD card reader with support for cards up to 1TB.

There's an 8600 mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging with a USB Type-C power adapter that connects to the tablet's USB 2.0 Type-C port. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack with support for 24-bit, 96 kHz audio, support for WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2, and 8MP front and rear cameras.

The tablet measures 268 x 174 x 8mm (10.6″ x 6.9″ x 0.3″) and weighs 650 grams (1.43 pounds).

Optional accessories include a Lenovo Tab Pen Plus active stylus, Lenovo Tab Plus Sleeve, and Lenovo multi-device wireless keyboard.

Lenovo ships the Tab Plus with Android 14, and the company is promising at least two major operating system updates as well as security updates through at least January, 2028.

thanks Steve!

We're still a few months away from these devices actually launching, but the plethora of leaks we've received leave little to the imagination. The news we have so far is that the company will be giving the Pixel lineup a completely different aesthetic, including flatter edges, rounded corners, and a large pill-shaped camera bump. The camera bump is the most noticeable part of the new design. In addition to the new design, we also learned that Google is bringing back the Pixel XL model this year. The last time we saw an XL model was the Pixel 4 XL. So, in this news, we could be looking at his three different Pixel 9 models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
