AOOSTAR GEM10 370 is a mini PC with Ryzen AI9 HX 370 and OCuLink

The AOOSTAR GEM10 is a mini PC that launched earlier this year with support for up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS "Phoenix" processor, dual 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, and a 40 Gbps USB4 port, and a 63 Gbps OCuLink connector.

Now AOOSTAR has introduced a new model that keeps the same basic features, but replaces the processor with a newer Ryzen AI 300 series "Strix Point" processor that should bring a big boost in CPU, graphics, and AI performance. The new AOOSTAR GEM10 370 should be available soon with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor.

That's  a 12-core, 24-thread chip with support for CPU speeds up to 5.1 GHz, Radeon 890M integrated graphics with 16 RDNA 3.5 GPU cores, and an AMD Ryzen AI neural processing unit with up to 50 TOPS of performance.

Those features are significant upgrades over the Ryzen 9 7940S (with 8 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.2 GHz, Radeon 780M graphics with 12 RDNA 3 GPU cores, and a 16 TOPS Ryzen AI NPU). But folks who want to add an external graphics card for even more graphics performance have two options for doing that thanks to the computer's USB4 and OCuLink ports.

Since the AOOSTAR GEM10 370 features LPDDR5x-7500 RAM that's soldered to the motherboard, the system's memory is not user-replaceable or upgradeable. But there are three M.2 2280 slots inside the case with support for PCIe 4.0 x4 storage, allowing users to bring their own SSDs.

AOOSTAR hasn't revealed any other specs yet, and there's no information about pricing or availability. But if the new model follows the design of its predecessors, it's likely to have at least two HDMI 2.1 ports, two 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and an audio jack. It will most likely be available soon in China before expanding to global markets.

We're still a few months away from these devices actually launching, but the plethora of leaks we've received leave little to the imagination. The news we have so far is that the company will be giving the Pixel lineup a completely different aesthetic, including flatter edges, rounded corners, and a large pill-shaped camera bump. The camera bump is the most noticeable part of the new design. In addition to the new design, we also learned that Google is bringing back the Pixel XL model this year. The last time we saw an XL model was the Pixel 4 XL. So, in this news, we could be looking at his three different Pixel 9 models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
