Nearly a year after introducing the Lenovo Legion Go handheld gaming PC with an 8.8 inch, 144 Hz display, an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, and a set of detachable controllers, Lenovo is expanding the ecosystem with a series of new accessories for the Legion Go.

Those accessories include an official USB-C dock, carrying case, joystick caps, and a "charging connector" that lets you turn the left and right controllers into a single unit that looks more like a traditional game controller for easy charging and gameplay. There's also a new multi-device Bluetooth mini keyboard that's not designed specifically for use with the Legion Go, but Lenovo notes that its compact size makes it a decent companion for the little computer.

Since the Legion Go is a full-fledged PC, you could theoretically use any keyboard, dock, or USB-C charging accessories with the system. But here's what the company's new official accessories have to offer.

Legion Go USB-C Dock

This dock measures 160 x 73.4 x 30.7mm (6.3″ x 2.9″ x 1.2″) and has a metal body with a slot designed to hold the Legion Go in place plus an integrated USB-C connector that plugs into the USB-C port on top of the handheld computer.

At the back of the dock you'll find a USB-C port with support for video, data and power, an HDMI 2.0 port for video out to an external display, an Gigabit Ethernet port for wired connections, and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports.

Lenovo says the USB-C port supports up to 100 watts of USB power delivery, although the Legion Go can only take up to 65 watts. The rest can be used to send power to other connected accessories.

The dock is expected to go on sale this month for $65.

Legion Go Charging Connector

The Legion Go has a pair of detachable controllers that work sort of like the controllers on a Nintendo Switch: when attached to the body of the Legion Go you can hold the system like a single device with controllers on the outside and a display in the middle. But you can also detach the controllers and use them wirelessly by holding them in your left and right hands.

The new Legion Go Charging Connector is an accessory that lets you use them like a single controller. Just attach the left and right controllers to the body of the Charging Connector and you've got a single unit that you can hold in your hands while gaming.

But, as the name suggests, this gadget isn't just designed to turn two controllers into one. It's also made for charging: there's a USB-C port on top that lets you charge both controllers with a single cable. And the Charging Connector itself has a 10.55 Wh integrated battery, which means you can also use it to charge the detachable controllers or extend battery life even when not plugged in.

The Charging Connector supports 5V/3A (15W) input and 5V/1A (5W) output to the left and right controllers. The Charging Connector should be available in October for $50.

Lenovo Multi-Device Bluetooth Mini Keyboard

This small Bluetooth keyboard measures 255.8 x 105.9 x 5.6mm (10.1″ x 4.2″ x 0.2″) without the rubber stand that props up the back, or 14.6mm high (0.6″) with the rubber stand. It weighs 180 grams (6.35 ounces).

Designed to support up to three devices, it's not designed exclusively for the Legion Go. It supports Windows, Android, and iPadOS and can be paired wirelessly with up to three devices, allowing you to use the same keyboard with your PC, phone, and tablet.

There's a 300 mAh battery with support for up to 62 hours of battery life, a USB Type-C port for charging or data (you can use this as a wired keyboard if Bluetooth isn't an option or isn't reliable), and the keys feature 18mm key pitch and 1.3mm key travel.

The keyboard does not have backlighting or a number pad. But its small size and light weight should make it more portable than a full-sized keyboard.

Lenovo's new mini keyboard should be available in November for $40.

Legion Go Carrying Case, Joystick Caps

Another new accessory kit is a new set of Joysticks and caps that come in colors including black, red, grey, and white and offer textured surfaces that may help enhance your grip.

And the new Lenovo Legion Go Carry Case is… a case. It measures 320.9 x 148.2 x 1088.9 (12.6″ x 5.8″ x 4.3″) and offers padding, screen protection, a mesh pocket, and a handle.

The Joystick and Joystick Caps are coming in November for $10, while the Carry Case should be available in December for $30.
