- New images and details for the Motorola Razr and Razr Plus have leaked.
- The Razr appears to come in grey and khaki, while the Razr Plus offers peach, green, and blue.
- The Razr’s outer display could be expanded to be closer to the Razr Plus.
A number of details have already been revealed about Motorola's clamshell Android foldable device, scheduled for release in 2024. But a new leak may reveal its colors and some interesting improvements over the cheaper Razr.
In collaboration with leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore, 91mobiles has shared some new renders of the Motorola Razr and Razr Plus (known as the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra outside the US). Based on the images, we can assume that the Razr will be available in gray and khaki, while the Razr Plus will come in peach, green, and blue color options.
This leak also provides some of the Razr Plus specs we've heard in previous leaks, including a 6.9-inch 2,640 x 1,080 OLED display for the interior and a 3.6-inch cover display. We also hear that it could feature Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 4,000mAh battery.
However, the standard model details are new. There's nothing new in terms of battery, main screen camera, or storage, but there are changes in other areas.
An exciting upgrade the Razr (2024) can offer is a larger cover display. The cover display is said to be 3.63 inches, which is roughly equivalent to the Razr Plus's 4-inch cover display.
Unfortunately, it seems that there are also downgrades like the following. B. MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC. This is a big change from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 that was featured in last year's model. The main camera has also been downgraded to 50MP from the 64MP we got in 2023.
Previous leaks suggested that the Razr Plus would launch in the US for $999 in his 12GB + 256GB version. However, it seems that the price of the entry-level model is still awaited.
