Lenovo's ThinkPad P-series mobile workstations are sleek, lightweight laptops designed for professional use, boasting support for professional graphics and other advanced features. The latest lineup introduces four new models powered by Intel Meteor Lake processors, with optional NVIDIA RTX Ada graphics support.Among these models, the smallest is the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s i Gen 5, featuring up to a 120 Hz display, an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, and NVIDIA RTX 500 graphics. However, the most intriguing addition is the Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 7, offering higher-performance graphics and a screen with an even higher refresh rate. Notably, it's also Lenovo's first laptop to incorporate LPCAMM2 memory technology.

The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 features LPCAMM2 memory technology, which is user-replaceable and offers LPDDR5x memory attached to a CAMM2 module instead of traditional soldered or SODIMM memory. This design advantageously saves space and consumes less power. However, the drawback is that LPCAMM2 modules currently max out at 64GB of RAM, limiting the ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 to a maximum of 65GB of memory, unlike other Lenovo laptops that support up to 96GB.
